We had to display and demonstrate our project in Open House, where people visit IIT Delhi to see the projects and innovation going on. For demonstrating our project, we set up two working bus modules, and set up a link to download our app and view the live location of the buses. We received positive feedback from everyone who tried using the app.
For the jury, we contacted with the Shuttle bus service of IIT Delhi, for giving a live demo to them. We set up one of the modules in the bus, and the jury used the app. The bus went on a predefined route, and everytime the bus crossed a stop, the next three stops on the app changed, and the phone spoke out the next three stops everytime they pressed the speak button.
For the people who couldn’t see the bus module in action by boarding a real bus, we set up a laptop which played a video prepared by us explaining the working of the app and the server side, which you can watch here:
